6. Protecting Your Privacy

If you are using Scheduler on a computer completely by yourself, then you can have full controls on your scheduling. However, sometimes you may often or occasionally share your computer with some other people. If you don't like other to see your schedules, or you hope your schedules won't be disturbed by other people, you may protect your privacy by setting an administrative password.

You can set this password in the "Options" dialog. You can find the command to launch "Options" dialog under "Tools" menu.

The main UI is the only place where you can modify your schedules. After you have set the password, you can close the main UI of Scheduler to let Scheduler run in background. Now if some one is trying to access the main UI from the system tray menu, he/she can do it only when he/she has the proper password. In addition, if some other people try to change the enable/disable status of scheduling when main UI is not open, or hope to change the password, or try to close Scheduler completely, he/she also must know the password. Therefore, your scheduling privacy can be protected.
