10. How to Become a Master in Calculating 24?

A quick mind sensitive to numbers can help you become a good player. But like in most other games, top players differ from excellent players by regular training.

A good news for those who want to become top 24 players is there are only 715 different configurations of questions for numbers between 1-10. Another good news, 24Guru provides all you need to become a master - you may check all irrelevant answers for any questions, you may read the complete list of answers at any time, and all other important features like Training Plan, Training Game and World Cup, as well as personal collection managers (Trouble Makers and My Favorites).

A procedure is recommended below, if you are interested in becoming a top 24 player within several days:

1. Choose "Training" from "Game" menu, set configurations as below, and start training:

There are 385 questions between (1,1,1,1) and (2,10,10,10). They are your first part of questions in training. Now click to start your training. 24Guru will go over all questions one after another. You can submit you answer to see whether it's right or wrong, If it's wrong, you can click to check all solutions for this question (you can check it at any time in fact), and submit your answer again for the same question. You may browse forward or backward freely to read and think on any questions.

2. Go through the above procedure several times, make sure you have answered each question correctly (can be after checking standard solution(s) and reentering you answers). You can also use the "Select Data Randomly" option in Training Plan in later rounds, which will rearrange all questions in a random order - no questions will be lost by this selection.  After several rounds, there can be only a little part of questions (100 at most, or only 10-20 if you are an experienced player) you may fail. You can save these hard nuts to "Trouble Makers".

3. Now reset you training selection from (3,1,1,1) to (10,10,10,10) - this is the second part of questions. Go through the above procedures for this part of questions.

4. At last, use the "From My Collection" -> "Trouble Makers" selection in the Training Plan to crack down all the hard nuts.

After rounds of training as described above, you will find yourself quite different in solving 24 problems now.
